Who we are:

Working: communication strategy is deliberately not a large organisation. We draw on the skills and know-how of senior people as and when our clients need them.

Working is led by Liam FitzPatrick. With over 20 years' experience of PR and internal communications - gained in-house and in consultancy roles - he is heavily involved with academic and professional bodies defining and maintaining standards for the education of communicators. He lectures on communications and stakeholder management at several business schools and universities.

His experience includes managing internal communications departments in major corporations as well as operating as a senior consultant for leading corporate communications agencies with clients across Europe and the US.

Sue Dewhurst has over ten years' experience in internal communications, gained through senior in-house roles in Royal Mail, Barclays Bank and latterly ntl. Sue is particularly experienced in change communications and in remodelling and restructuring internal communications functions.

She is a committee member for the UK's CIPR's Internal Communication Alliance and a trained co-active coach.

Lee Smith has 15 years experience in corporate communication and has held senior positions with a number of leading professional and financial services businesses. Starting out as a 'PR generalist' in the early 1990's, he spent the last five years specialising in internal communication at global accountancy firm Ernst & Young. Lee specialises in developing communication strategies and frameworks for complex businesses and orchestrating change programmes.

An award winning communicator, he sits on the Internal Communication Alliance national committee and advises a number of UK universities on their communication degree programmes.
